About This Tour
Our 4-hour tour includes stops at Batu Caves, Ramayana Cave, and the famous Kanching Waterfalls.
Upon reaching Batu Caves, you will first visit the Ramayana Cave. The cave depicts the story and life of Lord Rama and his wife Seetha. The cave comes alive with colourful lighting and statues that line the walls. You will feel like you are in fantasy land upon entering the cave.
Next, for more of an adventure, you can climb the ancient stairs leading to the entrance of the cave system (272 steps in all) to get a magnificent view of Kuala Lumpur when you reach the top. The crowning glory of the Hindu temple is the gigantic statue of Murugan standing atop the entire structure. At 140 feet, this is the second-tallest statue devoted to any Hindu deity and it’s the largest statue of a deity in the world. Walk around the limestone cave at your own pace and appreciate the natures nature. Upon reaching down, you will be served fresh coconut water to refresh yourself after a tiring climb.
Then continue on to Kanching Falls with its breath-taking seven-tiered waterfall. Enjoy the lush greenery of tropical rainforests and waterfalls, accompanied by the calming sound of the rainforest. It will be bliss for nature lovers as they find their way through the lush flora and fauna surrounding these waterfalls. It offers gushing water that is refreshingly cold and splashes onto those who sit by it. The beauty and cleanliness of this tourist destination are great for picnics and swims. Once you visit, the beauty of this Kanching Waterfalls will always remain as one of your best memory and experiences that you have ever had. Upon visiting the falls, you may choose to try the local food, especially the Nasi Lemak (at own expense), which are available near the exit point.
